In our digital age, many software applications allow us to add filters after the fact, so some photographers don’t use it on the camera that much. However, you won’t be able to get a decent long-exposure image without using ND filter on a sunny day. Filter application has become an integral part of image sharing on Instagram and other smartphone applications.
