In the world of eBooks and iTunes, it is now even easier to learn more and more about the things you care about, things you don’t probably want to go to school for. But the question is how and where to find these courses.
Open Culture is a treasure for all educational material. The site has a great collection of Free Certificate courses, Free eBooks, Audio Books and Free Textbooks on many subjects.
Free Education
As of this writing, Open Culture had a huge collection of 700 Free Online Courses from Top Universities, 200 Free Certificate courses, 500 Free Audio books and around 160 Free Textbooks. Check out the “Essential” section on the site for many other valuable collections. Many free courses are available on Computer Science, Economics, Maths, Engineering and Psychology etc.
Most of the links are for the courses available on Coursera and iTunes. Besides Open Culture, check out iTunes U section on Apple iTunes for many available courses from Stanford University, Oxford University and many more world renowned universities.
