The Past and The Future!
First, A look back
In the past year, I published 155 articles on various topics and reviewed many services, start-ups and Android/iPhone apps on Techacker. Here is the breakdown of what I covered on Techacker in the past year (arranged by categories)
- 36 How-to articles
- 80 articles in Mobile category that covers Android and iPhone app reviews and various tips
- 68 Reviews of various products – apps, web services and other software
- 16 articles on Entrepreneurship
- 62 articles in Internet category that contains news and other announcements.
- 7 eBooks were published named as “Techacker Magazine“. These all are available as FREE download to all readers.
- 2 Podcasts – Like I said, I will be improving in this category and try to offer more news and articles in Podcast format this year.
Overall, this year Techacker was visited around 90,000 times and was subscribed by over 1000 people. 155 articles received a total of 423 comments from some of you.
I would request you to get more involved with the discussion on the posts. Remember, you don’t have to sign-up to leave a comment on Techacker, just use your existing Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Google identities to login.

Now, What’s New?
First off, I have created a new logo to reflect new identity and style. Red is the new preferred color here on Techacker instead of Blue. Below is what I have in mind for Techacker:
New Logo:

I have changed the theme color to be Red instead of Blue. This is how it looks now. Give it a visit.
Focus:
This year I am planning to be more consistent with my publishing schedule. I will try to challenge myself to publish one article every day.
Besides that I plan on publishing more podcast, video cast and screen cast to bring more variety. At the same time I plan on conducting polls and interviews and Question & Answer type of articles.
The focus will still be Android and other smart phone platforms, but to add variety, I will review some Windows Phone apps too. As usual various start-ups, web apps and online services will get exposure too. I will keep introducing you to new products and services as we go along.
